 Sand County Almanac. Leopold’s meticulous phenological observations have p
 rovided us with an unparalleled record of when plants bloomed\, birds migr
 ated and other natural events. Comparing his observations of hundreds of n
 atural events to recent records helps us understand how climate change is

 der excruciating circumstances by people moved by an intense faith\, as we
 ll as for the transformative powers of the experience itself.<br />\n• As 
 a recreational activity: in recent times\, the Camino’s physical challenge
